Bed & Breakfast

If you wish to visit our alpaca farm, it is possible to stay over in our Bed & Breakfast 'Huize Weltevree'. In our beautifully situated (residential) farm we have realized two guest suites with either their own bathroom. Sleeping well is a must, so we did not save on the bed;  a great mattress, comfortable duvet of our own alpacas and sufficient length for tall guests (180x220 cm). The next morning you will be treated with a special breakfast with local and home made products. The next morning you will be treated with a special breakfast with local and home made products.

If you wish to stay with three persons in the room, we have an extra (folding) bed available.

There is a little beach, on the IJsselmeer, in about a 5 minute walk. The beach is not only popular by sunbathers, but because of the shallow water also very popular by (kite)surfers. If you want to see more of the surroundings, than the bicycle is the means of transport to take. Many beautiful villages and the city of Hoorn are only steps away from Schellinkhout. There is so much to do and to experience that even if the weather is not that beautiful for a day you do not have to be bored. In the vicinity of Hoorn, no lack of restaurants.

Suite Grutto
Spacious and light room at the backside (first floor) of the farmbuilding, with a view over the farmlands. In the room you will find coffee/tea facilities. The en suite bathroom is provided with, among other things, a luxurious rainshower and underfloor heating.

An overnight stay costs € 90,- based on 2 people, including breakfast and tourist tax. A surcharge of € 30,- per night will be charged for a third person.

Ada Kool:"Wat een leuk plekje om er even tussenuit te gaan. Samen met mijn dochter (9) heb ik overnacht op deze fijne plek. Een mooie, ruime kamer, heerlijk ontbijtje en een spontane gastvrouw waarbij we ons gelijk op ons gemak voelde. We werden wakker met uitzicht over de weilanden die wit waren van de rijp en de zon die net opkwam, je voelt je echt even weg van alles. Mijn dochter was helemaal fan van alle dieren die er rondlopen (wat zijn alpaca's leuk) en het was leuk om wat meer te horen over het bedrijf. We komen graag nog een keer terug."
